So, having dealt with the zombie, you can finally find out where the tools are in "Stalker: Call of Pripyat" on the Zaton. The only problem is their number, about 20 units, it can scare a beginner. You can hardly be afraid of the return fire - the zombies lead it very inaccurately. But they won't have a lot of problems - shoot them in the head and finish them off if necessary. Upon arrival, make sure that the sawmill, as the stalkers warned you, was inhabited by zombies.
Go there, if you wish, taking a detachment of individuals as companions - it is difficult to pass there without a fight. It is located in the northwest of the map. First you need to find a sawmill on the Zaton location map. Mechanic Cardan, located at Skadovsk, has really golden hands (at least that's what those who have ever been on the ship say), but with tools even on the outskirts of the center of the Zone it's a little tough - we'll go after them.
They will tell you where the tools are in "Stalker: Call of Pripyat", and ordinary stalkers during a conversation, but they can also misinform you.
There are only two copies of each kit, so without a map, the search can be somewhat difficult. You can find them while exploring the Exclusion Zone. For the rest of the improvements, they are not enough for calibration and for rough and fine work.
At the beginning of the game, mechanics at bases (Nitrogen and Cardan) can make only a few weapon modifications - increasing the magazine and changing the caliber. In the game "Stalker: Call of Pripyat" tools are needed in order to unlock new improvements for your weapons and armored suit.
